For most UFC fighters, “flipping the switch” is a real thing. It may sound like just an expression to most, but when mixed martial arts fighters step into the cage to compete at the highest level, a tremendous amount of confidence and focus is necessary in order to be successful.

MMA fighters are some of the nicest people on earth, but when the lights turn on in the arena and the walkouts music starts playing on the speakers, a transformation from everyday person to fighter is made.

In a segment of a recent edition of UFC Ultimate Insider on FUEL TV, UFC fighters such as Ryan Bader, Ian McCall, Joseph Benavidez, Jake Shields, Phil Davis and more give their take on whether “flipping the switch” is real and when if in fact occurs for them.
