VIDEO: UFC Counterpunch: Jon Jones vs. Rashad Evans (PART 2)

Just weeks out from their main event clash at UFC 145, Jon Jones and Rashad Evans sat down on the set of UFC Ultimate Insiderfor a lengthy discussion with host Jon Anik.

Part one of the interview can be seen here, in part two of the UFC Counterpunch segment, the two fighters exchange words about the transition from being friends and training partners into heated rivals.

Jon Jones
“I have no sympathy for Rashad whatsoever. There’s no I in team, there’s no I in Jackson’s, there’s an eye in Blackzillians, so I really look at you as fake, I look at you as arrogant. I look at you as selfish. I look at you as self-centered. And I think your biggest thing is to try and reflect it off on and make me seem like everything you’re feeling inside your heart for you.”

“I’ve done nothing wrong but follow my dream. I haven’t insulted anyone, I haven’t disrespected anyone, I haven’t traited on anybody.”

Rashad Evans
“I just say what I say about him being fake because Jon is not the person that, you know, he says he is or tries to pretend he is to be. He’s setting himself up for a fall that I don’t think he can take right now.”

“When you got offered the title shot and I told you to take it, Jon, I knew you were going to win, I wanted you to win, and I would have never ever ever fought you.”
