Just a few days out from UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen II, UFC President Dana White previewed the July 7 fight card with FOX Sports correspondent Megan Olivi.

Among the issues discussed were the main event bout between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen, the co-main event of Forrest Griffin vs. Tito Ortiz and the other featured main card bouts of Cung Le vs. Patrick Cote and Demian Maia vs. Dong Hyun Kim.

“Anderson (Silva) didn’t want this fight. Anderson was refusing to fight (Chael Sonnen) because he felt like this guy was so disrespectful that he doesn’t deserve to be in the sport or martial arts let along fight Anderson Silva for the title so, yeah, he hates Chael and I just think think it makes the fight that much more interesting.”
