Following the UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen II post-fight press conference, members of the media caught up with UFC president Dana White for a media scrum.

In the scrum, White answers questions about UFC 148 and a number of topics including Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin looking old, having respect for Alistair Overeem, going to Australia to film episode 1 of TUF Australia, putting the media members through a workout with the fighters during fight week and much more.

On What Sold The Silva vs. Sonnen Fight
“Anderson pulls that off and that’s what sold this fight. That’s the reason that people got into this fight and were into it. It wasn’t because Chael’s funny and smart and talks well. That doesn’t hurt. It doesn’t suck.”

On His Mended Relationship With Alistair Overeem
“Nothing but respect for Alistair now. We all make mistakes and we all do stupid (expletive). I say this all the time. It’s all in how you handle yourself after. He handled himself like a (expletive) stud.”
