On The Stoppage In The Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen Fight
“A bunch of guys were telling me (the knee) landed borderline right on the chest. It wasn’t illegal, the refe didn’t call it illegal so, listen, even if the thing was illegal, you know how this stuff goes, even if it was illegal and it landed square in the face and the ref lets the fight go, it is what it is. But from what I am hearing from everyone who did see it on they’re saying it was legal.”

On Silva’s Next Opponent
“He just got done fighting a few minutes ago and you guys want me to make the next fight. Let’s enjoy this fight for a couple days, let’s relax and bask in the big championship fight we had tonight before you have me make the next fight.”

On Forrest Griffin vs. Tito Ortiz
“I think Tito looked really old tonight, and so did Forrest. Neither of them looked like young guys.”
