UFC 149: Faber vs. Barao Event Summary

The UFC traveled to Canada for the first time since Dec. 2011 for UFC 149: Faber vs. Barao last Saturday night from the ScotiaBank Saddledome in Calgary, live on PPV.

The organizations eight pay-per-view event of the year featured a sold out crowd and was headlined by an interim bantamweight championship affair between two of the best 135-pound fighters in the world in Urijah Faber and Renan Barao. Five of the 11 bouts on the card were finished inside the distance while the remaining six fights went to the final bell and were decided by the judges.
