The UFC returned to fight capital of the United States with UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen II last Saturday night from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, live on PPV.

The organizations seventh PPV event of the year set a record for live gate in the United States and was headlined by a middleweight championship affair between two of the best 185-pound fighters in the world in Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen. Three of the 11 bouts on the card were finished inside the distance while the remaining eight fights went to the final bell and were decided by the judges.
