A heavyweight bout between Travis “Hapa” Browne and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva will headline the relocated UFC on FX 5 event in Minneapolis, MN., according to MMAJunkie.com.

Last week FightCove.com reported UFC on FX 5 was forced to undergo a date and location shift due to the organization being unable to secure a venue in Indianapolis, IN.

The original event was slated to take place on Sept. 7, and will now go down at the Target Center in Minneapolis, a venue the organization has not visited since UFC 87 in Aug. of 2008.

Browne (13-0-1) had a fight lined up for UFC on FOX 4 on Aug. 4, but was forced off the card after his scheduled opponent, Ben Rothwell, was forced off the card just nine days prior to the event. Although a search for a replacement to face Browne did occur, no suitable opponent could be found on short notice and the 30-year-old was pulled from the card. Browne is currently undefeated in five UFC appearances and has won three of those bouts by knockout or submission. Browne will headlined a UFC event for the first time in his career when he meets Silva on Oct. 5.

Silva (16-4) is coming off a first round TKO loss to former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez at UFC 146 last May. The fight against Velasquez was Silva’s first with the organization after a five-fight stint in the Strikeforce organization where he picked up wins over Andre Arlovski, Mike Kyle and Fedor Emeliankenko. The Brazilian will look to rebound from a disappointing octagon debut with a strong performance against Browne.

At this time, no other bouts have been announced for UFC on FX 5. FightCove.com will continue to keep updated on any match ups slated for the event in the coming weeks and months.
