‘The Ultimate Fighter’ Season 16 Cast Announced

In just a few short weeks, ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ reality show returns to FX Networks. 32 welterweight mixed martial arts hopefuls will enter the ‘TUF’ training center in Las Vegas and attempt to fight their way to the top.

The upcoming season, which debuts on Sept. 14, features a strong contingent of talent. In standard fashion, the 32 competitors will fight against each other to determine which 16 men continue on to the tournament bracket.

UFC heavyweights Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin Vitor coach the two teams of young fighters and are expected to fight at this December.

Unlike FX’s first season of the reality show, ‘TUF: Live’, this seasons uses the show’s traditional format in which all content, including the in-house drama and fights, is pre-taped. The show is currently in the final stages of production.
