The Ultimate Fighter: Live Episode 8 “The Lion’s Den” Quick Results

The eighth episode of “The Ultimate Fighter: Live” aired tonight on FX and featured a round-of-16 elimination fight between Team Cruz’s Sam Sicilia and Team Faber’s Chris Saunders.

Going into tonight’s episode, the competition was once against even at three wins for each team after Vince Pichel submitted John Cofer on last week’s episode. Team Cruz earned their first win since episode three and had the opportunity to take to take the lead in the compeition as Sicilia took on Saunders in the seventh preliminary fight.

Was the heavily favorited Sicilia able to retake the lead for Team Cruz? Or did Saunders pull off the upset to give Team Faber their first lead of the competition in week eight?
