With the season winding down and only one fight remaining in the season, episode 13 of “TUF: Brazil” featured the second middleweight semifinal bout of the season.
Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira and Thiago Bodao, both originally from Team Belfort, fought to determine which man will move on to face Daniel Sarafian in the final round of the competition.
Middleweight Semifinal Bout: Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira def. Thiago Bodao via Knockout (Head Kick) – R1
With the victory, Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira becomes the second 185-pound finalist and will meet Sarafian in the middleweight final as the two Brazilians are set to fight for the six-figure UFC contract at UFC 147 on June 23 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

BREAKING NEWS: Shortly after episode 13 of “TUF: Brazil” aired, the UFC announced on their official website Daniel Sarafian is injured and will be unable to compete at UFC 147. As a replacement, Sergio Moraes will now face Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira in the middleweight tournament final.
The middleweight final now looks like this:
