The Ultimate Fighter 16: Episode 2 “What We Do” Quick Results

The second episode of “The Ultimate Fighter 16” aired tonight on FX and featured the first of eight round-of-16 elimination fights between Team Nelson’s Camerson Diffley and Team Carwin’s Neil Magny.

Going into tonight’s episode, all the competitors entered the house for the first time after winning on the debut episode last week. After the 16 winners were decided, coaches Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin selected teams of eight welterweight fighters each. After Team Carwin selected the first fighter, Team Nelson was left with the choice of first fight pick.

Welterweight Bout: Neil Magny (Team Carwin) def. Cameron Diffley (Team Nelson) via Unanimous Decision (20-18, 20-18, 20-18)

With Magny’s win, Team Carwin moves ahead one win to nothing in the competition. Team Carwin takes control of fight selection and will attempt to continue momentum with a victory on next week’s episode.

New episodes of “The Ultimate Fighter 16″ air every Friday night at 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT on FX Networks in the United States and Canada.
