The Ultimate Fighter 16: Episode 1 “Bring It!” Quick Results

The debut episode of “The Ultimate Fighter” season 16 premiered tonight of FX and FX Canada.

The season opener pitted 32 competitors against each other in 16 fights to determine which half continued to the “TUF” house and which half went home.

Coaching this season’s group of aspiring fighters is “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 10 winner Roy “Big Country” Nelson and former interim heavyweight champion Shane Carwin.

At the conclusion of the preliminary round of fights, the following 16 welterweights move into “The Ultimate Fighter” house in Las Vegas: Dom Waters, Michael Hill, Bristol Marunde, Mike Ricci, Julian Lane, Igor Araujo, James Chaney, Cameron Diffley, Neil Magny, Jon Manley, Colton Smith, Matt Secor, Eddy Ellis, Eddy Ellis, Joey Rivera, Nic Herron-Webb and Sam Alvey.

Following the fights to get into the house, coaches Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin picked teams. Nelson won the coin toss and decided to choose the fist fight, which gave Carwin the first overall pick. The complete teams for the upcoming season can be viewed below.
