Ross Pearson And George Sotiropoulos To Coach “The Ultimate Fighter: Australia vs. UK”
The second international edition of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show has coaches as UFC president Dana White announced on the UFC on FUEL TV 4 post-fight show that “The Ultimate Fighter” season nine winner Ross Pearson and season six cast member Geroge Sotiropoulos will coach 16 aspiring fighters looking for a six-figure UFC contract.
The season is set to begin filming next Wednesday (July 18). The show will then air in mid-September, and for the second time ever will have fighters from two countries facing off against one another.
At the conclusion of the season, the two fighters will face off in a lightweight contest.
Pearson will move back up to the lightweight division after a two-fight stint at featherweight where he went 1-1. Pearson not only relishes the opportunity to teach young fighters and coach the show for the first time.
Sotiropoulos has not competed since a knockout loss to Rafael Dos Anjos in July 2011 and looks to rebound with a big win over his fellow TUF veteran.
It is unknown at this time which weight classes will be featured on the show.
