Poll Results: Which Upcoming UFC Title Fight Are You Most Excited For?

The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s event schedule for the next few months is nearly complete, and major title fights are on the horizon as the 155, 170, 205 and heavyweight belts will be on the line before the year is complete.

Jon Jones puts his light heavyweight title on the line for the fourth time against Vitor Belfort at UFC 152 on Sept. 22, Georges St-Pierre and Carlos Condit meet in a welterweight title unification bout at UFC 154 on Nov. 17, Benson Henderson attempts to defend his lightwight championship for the second time against Nate Diaz at UFC on FOX 5 on Dec. 8, and finally, Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez rematch for the heavyweight strap at the UFC’s year-end event on Dec. 29.

With some of the most anticipated title fights in UFC history just weeks/months away, we asked the Fight Cove readers, “Which Upcoming UFC Title Fight Are You Most Excited For?”

The final result may come as a surprise to some as with 39 percent of the votes, fans are most looking forward to the UFC on FOX 5 lightweight championship fight between Henderson and Diaz, scheduled to take place Dec. 8 from KeyArena in Seattle. WA.

Coming in a close second with 34 percent of the votes, the welterweight championship fight between St-Pierre and Condit got the nod as the fight fans are looking forward too most behind Henderson and Diaz.

The Dec. 29 rematch between dos Santos and Velasquez was third in voting with 15 percent and finally, next weekend’s UFC 152 main event between Jones and Belfort scored 13 percent of the votes.
