It was recently announced former EliteXC heavyweight champion Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva will fight Travis “Hapa” Browne in the main event of the UFC’s fifth show on FX. The Oct. 5 event will mark the second octagon appearance for the 32-year-old after losing his organizational debut to former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez at UFC 146 last May.

Not long after the news of Silva fighting Browne surfaced, the Brazilian heavyweight spoke with Tatate and shared his thoughts his opponent as well as the two-fight losing streak he will carry into the bout.

On Travis Browne
“He’s a striker. His stand-up is pretty good and he’s also a purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu, with good takedown defenses. He’s a tough guy, will be a good fight”.

On His Current Losing Streak
“I lost both times in quick fights, I couldn’t show my work. Velasquez and Cormier are two top fighters too, it’s not like I lost to a nobody. Dana White knows what I can do and I’m happy with this chance”,
